Your purchase
Your one-time payment buys the versioned Alchemist Crew Starter Kit supplied with your order: its configuration, role instructions, included engineering skills, installer and documentation. It is a downloadable product, not a subscription or installation service. Keep a copy of your download and receipt.
Your purchase does not include Kiro software, an AWS or Kiro account, model access, credits or other third-party services. You use your own accounts under the relevant providers' terms and pay any separate usage charges. Installation prerequisites are described in START-HERE.md and the included guide.
Permission to use and adapt
For the original material owned by AI Alchemy, we grant you a non-exclusive licence to keep, install, copy for backup and modify the purchased version for your personal use or your organisation's internal business use. You may use it in your work on customer projects. Your right to use that version does not expire merely because a newer version is released.
Do not resell, publish or redistribute AI Alchemy's original starter-kit material as a product or give the download to another organisation. This restriction concerns the kit itself, not the work you create while using it. AI Alchemy retains ownership of its original material.
Third-party material remains subject to its own licences. The MIT permissions in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md and licenses/ are preserved in full, including their rights to modify and redistribute the material they cover. These terms do not replace or narrow those permissions. For this starter kit, these specific terms take precedence over any general AI Alchemy software licence where they differ.
Versions and use
The purchase includes the supplied version and its documentation. It does not promise future releases, lifetime maintenance, custom configuration or a particular support response time. Any additional offer will be stated separately.
The installer changes Crew configuration as described in the included guide. Review those settings and choose the projects, tools and credentials you allow Crew to access. AI output and actions require your judgement before you rely on them. Third-party accounts and model availability are managed by their providers.
Consumer rights and contact
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. Those rights can include repair, replacement, refund or compensation where required by law.
