Prepare a matter
Turn scattered documents and correspondence into a clear starting point, with the facts organised for review.
Legal practice · Development partnership
Spend your time on the case, not the file. Led by advocates and lawyers in India and Australia.
Matter preparation, research and first drafts in one workspace. Every suggestion links back to the document it came from, and a lawyer decides what is used.
Prototype walkthrough
Follow a fictional matter through the prototype, from choosing the client to a draft assessment. Nothing moves on until the lawyer confirms it.
Step 1 of 6 · Client information
Link the matter to a client from the firm’s directory or register a new one. The client can be changed later without losing documents or assessment history.
The lawyer chooses the client.

Step 2 of 6 · Matter details
Record the parties, whether proceedings have started and what the client wants assessed. The same matter carries on if proceedings begin later.
The lawyer records the instructions.
Step 3 of 6 · Documents
Upload files, attach documents the firm already holds, or connect a mailbox or drive. The matter agent searches connected accounts for material that belongs to the matter and suggests it with reasons. Each document is then classified automatically.
The lawyer adds what belongs and confirms each type.
Agent searched 2 connected accounts
3 documents suggested for this matter, each with the agent’s reasons.
15 documents prepared. Types are suggested by the agent and confirmed or corrected by the lawyer.
Step 4 of 6 · Extraction & review
A case summary is drawn from the prepared documents. Each value links to the exact quotation it came from, and the lawyer confirms, corrects or excludes it.
The lawyer confirms every value.

Step 5 of 6 · Analyse & research
Legal issues are drawn from the reviewed extraction. Research attaches authorities to each issue and stays separate from the case evidence. Both run only when the lawyer chooses.
The lawyer accepts or rejects each issue.

Step 6 of 6 · Assessment & report
The narrative cites the extraction, issues and authorities it relies on. Each completion is saved as a version that never changes, and a report is optional.
The lawyer completes and owns the assessment.

Next: open preparation
Turn scattered documents and correspondence into a clear starting point, with the facts organised for review.
Go straight to the facts and sources you need instead of rereading the whole file.
When new documents arrive, see which facts changed, where evidence is missing and where sources disagree, for you to assess.
Develop research notes and first drafts for a lawyer to check, refine and use in their work.

Questions
No. It prepares material for a lawyer: organised facts, research and first drafts. A lawyer reviews every output and decides what is used.
We are developing it with advocates and lawyers in India and Australia. Each workflow is evaluated for each jurisdiction before a practitioner trial.
The proposed workspace runs in the firm’s own tenant, and a lawyer chooses which documents belong to a matter and who can see them. You do not need to share client documents to become a development partner.
You tell us which preparation, research or drafting work to improve, then give feedback and review outputs as each workflow develops. No client or matter details are needed to start, and participation and any trial scope are agreed with you first.
Preparation takes experienced lawyers away from advice and clients. The case study sets out that problem and the outcomes practitioner trials will assess.
